Congratulations to Bankfield Museum on Prestigious Award

Bankfield Museum were recently awarded the prestigious Public History Prize by the Royal Historical Society for the Bankfield Museum Great War Galleries . The award was presented by Amanda Vickery (centre), to Calderdale Museums Manager, Richard Macfarlane (right) and Collections and Exhibitions Officer, Angela Clare (left). The Great War Galleries were the concept of Richard Macfarlane and planned and created by its first project manager Angela Clare. Later stages of the plan were delivered by Janette Martin (second project manager). Several individuals and organisations contributed to its content including HGWHS.
